Decon7
Built to Combat Bioterrorism and Save Lives
The original formula on which D7 was based was created through funding granted by the Department of Energy in Sandia Laboratories in New Mexico. Utilizing cutting-edge developments in chemical science, D7 capitalizes on the natural cleaning power of hydrogen peroxide, penetrating and disarming toxins at a molecular level. This specialized formula penetrates and eliminates pathogenic bacteria, sanitizing down to the molecular level to prevent future outbreaks.

Powerful enough to take on any challenge, from anthrax attacks to stubborn Staph biofilms.

Gentle
Relatively low in toxic materials, making it easy to transport, store, and utilize in areas that needed to be safe for public access.

Adaptable
Customized to several different application methods, which ensured more effective use.
How It Works
Hydrogen-Peroxide-Based Sanitization Power
Although the exact chemical makeup of D7 is complex, at its core,
the ingredients could be broken down as follows:
1
Hydrogen peroxide
2
SURFACTANTS (SOAP)
3
Inorganic salts (like baking soda)
4
Hydrogen peroxide booster
5
Water
D7 chemically cleaves the spore wall, then neutralizes the mycotoxin inside. For toxic chemicals, the surfactant ingredients (i.e. soap) help dissolve the chemical into the D7 formulation, where it is attacked and neutralized by the hydrogen peroxide. For biological materials (e.g. bacteria, viruses, and fungi), the surfactants soften the cell walls of the microorganisms, which allows the hydrogen peroxide to penetrate to the interior for complete kill. It also changes the osmotic pressure around the cell, which causes an imbalance in the internal cellular pressure, resulting in the total collapse of the cellular membrane.

Disinfectants
Decon7 is a revolutionary disinfectant that is water soluble, contains no VOCs, is naturally biodegradable, and has a 5 year shelf life.
- Effective in extreme temperature ranges
- Kills a minimum of 99.9999 percent of bacteria† in biofilm
- Broad-spectrum disinfectant, cleaner, deodorizer, and food contact sanitizer**
- Application can be done via foam, mist, direct spray, atomizing, mopping, and even as a laundry detergent.
Various sizes are available for purchase.
†Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa
**A potable water rinse is required after application on food contact surfaces.

Hand Sanitizers
Based on the active ingredient Benzalkonium Chloride in a unique, non-drying, moisturizing and conditioning formula. D7 Hand Sanitizer kills >99.9% of most common illness causing germs in just 15 seconds.
- Non-fammable
- Non-staining
- Less drying of skin
Various sizes are available for purchase.

D7 MPC-100 Multi-purpose Cleaner
Soapy water has long been a basic means to cleaning contaminated surfaces. D7-MPC is operationally straightforward, and diluted with water to provide the overall cleaning of heavy soil load environments, including barns, buildings, trucks and farm equipment. It is biodegradable, non-corrosive, and requires no special applicator.
Various sizes are available for purchase.

Pelletized Quaternary Floor Treatment
Power FT is a pelletized dry blend of Quaternary Ammonium Chlorides that is useful in all areas of food processing, especially RTE rooms and processing areas. Power FT is unique in that it contains an actual dry quaternary component as its active ingredient. Many competing products coat a dry inert filler with liquid quat and do not provide the true time release action Power FT provides.

Decon7’s Expansion Into Food & Biosecurity
A 2015 avian flu outbreak in the United States prompted the exploration of application cases for the food and biosecurity industry. After targeted testing, it soon became apparent that D7’s powerful formula was perfect for tackling food contamination issues, both in reaction to outbreaks and preventively for ongoing cleaning and sanitization. At the same time, D7’s hydrogen-peroxide-based methodology was gentle enough to protect valuable equipment and safe enough to use in food production facilities*.
Since 2015, Decon7 has carefully proceeded with the exhaustive process of registering our decontamination product with the EPA, meticulously proving each claim once again through third-party testing.
